Support Points Program: Small Donations, Big Ideas | Public Invitation for the 5th Round
Eight charity organizations in Greece join forces again to support civil society, making a public call for participation in the 5th financial round of the “Support Points” program. This new round, which began in 2015 and has financed 101 actions and benefited more that 40,000 individuals, was the product of the collaboration between the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, the TIMA Charitable Foundation, the Bodossaki Foundation, the Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation, the A.G. Leventis Foundation, the A.C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation, the Costas M. Lemos Foundation and the Social and Cultural Affairs Welfare Foundation (KIKPE). The program’s new round is coordinated by the Bodossaki Foundation.
The “Support Points” program is aimed at small civil society organizations in Greece, helping them to implement original small-scale actions of maximum social impact, and also to strengthen their structures and develop capacities that will contribute to their viability. As part of the 5th round of the program, up to 30 actions will be supported with the amount of € 5,000 each. The actions will have a duration of up to six months and will fall under one of the following categories as determined by the sponsors of the program:
- Social inclusion of people with disabilities (John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation
- Support for the elderly (TIMA Charitable Foundation)
- Support for vulnerable groups (Social and Cultural Affairs Welfare Foundation – KIKPE)
- Support for actions for children
- Children and health (Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation)
- Children and the environment (A.G. Leventis Foundation)
- Support for actions for the protection of the environment
- Protection of aquatic and coastal ecosystems (A.C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation)
- Protection of forests and other terrestrial ecosystems (Costas M. Lemos Foundation)
- They must be legal entities of a non-profit character based in Greece (unions, associations, non-profit organizations, etc.) or social cooperative enterprises.
- They should be able to show an annual turnover of up to € 50,000 in the previous tax year
- They should not fall under state jurisdiction, and their activities should not be of religious, political or commercial nature.
In addition to providing funding, the program allows the organizations to participate for free in capacity-building activities, which will be funded and implemented by the Bodossaki Foundation through Social Dynamo, the Foundation’s NGO hub.
Organizations that are interested can submit their application via the corresponding form by Saturday, April 30, 2022. The results will be announced in July 2022.

Opening event
The program’s opening event, which will be held on Wednesday, March 1 2022 between 16:00 and 18:00, will include the presentation of its objectives, its structure and the thematic units that will be funded by the institutions, and provide a breakdown of the application process. Application-writing worksho
The application-writing workshop is a two-hour online seminar tailored to the needs of the organizations participating in the 5th round of the “Support Points” program. The aim is to inform, guide and facilitate you in every step of the application process. The four workshops are aimed at organizations operating in Central Greece, Northern Greece and the North Aegean, Western Greece and the Peloponnese, and finally Crete and the South Aegean, and will take place on March 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2022, respectively, between 16:00 and 18:00.
