Registrations for the CAEM’s seventh round of seminars will open on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. The seminars will begin on October 21, and are aimed at those who wish to enrich their knowledge and skills on topics related to the agri-food sector, and those who intend to become involved in sustainable entrepreneurship by utilizing the local rural economy’s natural resources.

The seminars’ average duration is 30 training hours (10 three-hour sessions), including theoretical lessons, hands-on workshops, lectures by guest speakers, and visits to production facilities. The seminars that will begin in the 2019 winter semester are the following:

  • OLIVE OIL PROCESSING AND STANDARDIZATION
  • UTILIZATION OF MEDICINAL AND AROMATIC PLANTS
  • AGRI-TOURISM
  • SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

The seminars’ experiential nature aims at developing business education, improving production-related skills, and promoting business ideas through the consulting services offered by the Center for Agri-Food Entrepreneurship in Messinia. Upon the seminars’ completion, a certificate of attendance will be provided, together with the teacher’s handbook.
