The requirements and key points for creating a successful agri-food business will be at the heart of the seminar titled: “Entrepreneurship in the agri-food sector” organized by the Center for Agri-Food Entrepreneurship in Messinia. The seminar will take place in the Horizon Blu conference hall (1 Petrou Karakousi str.) in Kalamata, on Saturday May 27, at 10 am. It takes place on the occasion of the completion of the second round of the Center’s experiential seminars for adults; during the seminar, marketing and business executives will present successful examples in the agri-food sector.

10:30 – 10:50: The importance of marketing research in the creation of satisfied customers – The case of olive oil. Athanasios Krystallis, professor of Food Marketing – Consumer Behavior Analysis

10:50 – 11:10: Building the Greek brand abroad. Peter Poulos, “Navarino Icons” partner.

11:10 – 11:30 Break

11:30 – 11:50: Utilizing consulting services. Philippos Papadopoulos, director of the Strategic Project Management Office of the American Farm School.

11:50 – 12:10: Innovation in the development of new products. Nikolaos Gizgis, chemist – quality manager, American Farm School associate.

12:10 – 12:30: Innovation in Entrepreneurship. Dimitris Gremyloyannis, founder and general manager of “AgriFarm.”
