More than 150 professionals and producers of Messinia attended and 343 B2B meetings were held at the two-day workshop on informing, supporting and promoting the exports of Greek agricultural products, which was organized by the Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation and the George and Victoria Karelias Foundation.
The two-day workshop took place on 8 & 9 December at the Horizon Blu hotel in Kalamata. It was supported by the Panhellenic Exporters Association and the Messinia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.
More than 150 professionals and producers of Messinia attended the workshop. There were 21 presenters, including representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, buyers and experts on exports , offering their experience, valuable information and important practical information to participants.
During the theoretical part of the workshop, strategies, the legal framework as well as best practices for marketing and promoting successfully products to the USA, Australia, China and France were presented.

During the workshop, 343 B2B (business to business) meetings between export companies of Messinia and foreign buyers took place, many of which concluded in signing business deals. The Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation and the George and Victoria Karelias Foundation will actively continue efforts aiming to support and promote local community.
