Aiming at providing valid and research-based information, the Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation has initiated a series of meetings at various areas of Messinia. Professionals and teachers discuss and analyse agricultural sector issues. The meetings are open to the public. More information can be found on the Foundation’s website. The next meeting is scheduled for February 26 at Diavolitsi. Specifically, Dr. Anastasios Kotsiras, agronomist, assistant professor at the Technological Educational Institute of Peloponnese and scientific director of the Agricultural Institute of Kalamata, will discuss issues on the rationalized use of fertilizers in olive orchards. The presentation will be followed by a discussion with the attendees on the subject. The Agriculture Meeting will be held Thursday, February 26, at 19:30 at the cafe “TSOUMANI” in Diavolitsi.
